This includes terms related to authentication, data usage, and user responsibilities while using government services via the platform.Data Protection:Financsync adheres to UK GDPR and other applicable data protection laws. All sensitive information, including taxpayer data accessed via HMRC APIs, is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest. Data is only used for the purposes explicitly permitted by the user and is retained only as long as necessary. Our systems include access controls and audit logging to ensure compliance.Payment Terms:Payment terms relate to the commercial use of the Financsync platform and do not affect interactions with HMRC services. Access to HMRC-integrated features is not contingent on additional payments beyond what’s stated in our pricing model.Intellectual Property Rights:We respect HMRC’s intellectual property and API usage terms. Users of Financsync may not reverse engineer or misuse any part of HMRC’s API services. All branding, logos, and data formats remain the property of HMRC or respective owners.API Scope and Consent:We only request access to HMRC APIs that are essential to our service offering (e.g., [VAT MTD]). Users must authenticate via HMRC's OAuth2 flow and explicitly authorize access. We do not use APIs for any unintended or undeclared purposes.
